For the new channel I set:

“Publish your default profile in the network directory” to YES

Directory Server URL is set to “hub.libranet.de” by the admin

but https://hub.libranet.de/directory does not list the channel

What could be the reason?
What different Directory Server URL may work better?

the channel is on a new hub which was reinstalled few times using the same domain name… can this be part of the problem?

I see now that a test channel for the first installation (which was deleted - the hub was reinstalled ) is showing up in the Directory…

what can I do now?

Just wait. Each (re)install created a new host key. AFAIK, it will be removed in the directory after some time of inactivity (of using the old key), then the new key will be accepted. I don't know the timeout - some days? Diaspora etc. won't forget the old key, if I remember right, so you hopefully haven't connected to non-hubzilla earlier.

the new channel is now three weeks old and still not listed...

Not sure, but I don't think so. Maybe some privacy setting prevents that the channel is published in the directory.

@Steffen K9 🐙 would you check and edit the database of https://hub.libranet.de would you delete the old host key if I tell you the host name?
